I love my tea and coffee but going to give it up . Not keen on herbal teas so what do you recommend ? Have any of you found a herbal tea that's nice or anything that tastes like coffee ?
Gonna miss my morning first coffee as it wakes me up .

Hi i loved my coffee and decided to give it up I went total cold turkey and ended up with withdrawl symptoms from caffine so I would say make sure u cut down at first as I would say I never drank a lot of coffee.
Nescafe decafe is totally like normal coffee and I love tea pigs fruity teas.
Good luck xx
Ps like u I thought my first coffee woke me up but totally don't miss it
Hi
I love my tea and coffee, so just switched to decaf. There is lots of good brands out there, I like the brand "Clipper" decaf coffee.
I always thought I needed a real coffee to wake me up, but to be honest I didn't notice the difference.

Hello
I loved my morning cup of coffee too so feel your pain! I just switched to decaf. Costa and M&S do a nice one if you're out and about. It's a bit weaker but I honestly stopped noticing the difference! I also gave it up gradually in the run up to starting treatment. I felt so dependent on my morning caffeine hit but giving it up I've not missed it at all!

There's many good decaf versions of tea and coffee. Costa and starbucks are great when out and about. There is carte noir decaf pods avaliable if you have a tassimo machine. They also do granulated decaf coffee which is lovely. The only one I've tried which I really didn't like was tesco's own......It was so bad it went in the bin lol
Xxx
It took a bit of time but I am now addicted to the Green Teas with Cranberry, Pomegranate or Pineapple and Grapefruit. Give them a go for a couple if days to get used to them. I also find an apple good for the morning wake up kick
I've had peppermint tea couple of times and getting used to the taste. It's quite refreshing. Should definitely give it a try. x
Theres loads of decaf tea and coffee out there. Or herbal: i like the pukka teas or tea pigs. Or good old peppermint. Avpid licorice based teas and Watch out as green tea has caffiene in it but there are specific decaf green teas out there.
I too will be missing my morning coffee, hadn't realised decaf wouldn't be allowed either. I've tried a few things and the two I quite like are raspberry & cranberry tea and lemon & ginger tea...Probably like the second one the best....leave the bag in whilst driving though or its a bit watery! Have to say, nothing like coffee though! Good luck!
I was such a coffee and tea addict you can have decaf!!! I hated fruit teas but I've got used to them and find them refreshing I even have warm water with a slice of lemon in it!!! And have started drinking a lot more water!!! If I'm busy at work rushing round I have a multivitamins juice drink full of 100% fruit and veg sounds horrid but it's really nice and good for you!!! I asked if it's ok to have that and they said yes as it's counted as 1 of your 5 day xx
I switched to decaf coffee, but I buy the Swiss water process decaf from Grumpy Mule because I read that the process used by most (cheaper) brands to remove caffeine often involves chemicals of which traces can remain, so I avoid the supermarket versions. As for tea, I really like Rooibos or red bush tea
