I am thinking of opting for fertility treatment and very confused where to start. I came to know from my friend that there is a new evening Walk in Clinic started at CRGH,London. Since i am new,was thinking of going for the consultation.Has anyone else tried it yet? All suggestions are highly appreciated.

Hi Katty, welcome to the group. You will find lots of love and support here to help you on your journey.
In order to get NHS funding you will need a referal from your GP which will help you get through the funding phases/qualification stages. If you're under 35 you need to have been trying for 2 years and if you're over 35 you need to have been trying for a year. You will need to have all your tests done to help identify if you have any problems and the results will give you a read on your fertility and egg reserves.
Some postcodes are covered, some not so its a real lottery.
If you want to go private you will need to choose your clinic which you can start to look on the HFEA website.
I'm not sure what you would get at walk-in so can't give you a view of that I'm afraid.
Thanks for the reply. My partner has a child so i am not eligible for NHS funding. I went for the 5 pm Walk-In Clinic at CRGH and the staff were very warm and welcoming. I met the consultant Dr Irfana, she was knowledgeable and impressive and liked her style.
I am thinking of proceeding with treatment at CRGH.
