silly question - what do i wear?

Hi all

Ok first app on Friday where I will have the internal scan - what am I supposed to wear?

Leggings and a jumper?

Will it be done in front of my husband?

Hi holly, u can wear anything u like, they send u in the scan room to get undressed from the waist down, and its ur choice if you want hubby to sit at the back or not x

I wore comfy baggy trousers well just not tight! Just personal preference didnt want to get too warm knowing my foo foo was getting a looking at 😉 other half was in room I lied on a bed and nurse put curtain round. Other half didn't want to see scan first time (he's a fainter at silly things bless him) but by the second he was looking at it! He sat by my head end though!

It's really not bad at all the scan nothing to worry about. I was worried about it and made sure I was trimmed and all sorts lol but by the 10th one I couldn't have cared less lol X

As the others have said, you can wear 'normal' clothes and get undressed from the waist down in private. They give you a modesty towel (pillow case size piece of the blue paper towel they protect the beds with) to cover you up (that always made me laugh as they have to look to insert the probe, plus they've seen it all before but it's protocol apparently). They then focus on the screen. My hubby didn't come in for the standard scans (joint choice) but he did come in for the ETs so he could see that all on the screen.

Scans are the easiest part of the whole process.
