Silly question

Hi, so I’ve started to panic that I’ve forgotten something! I feel like I should be taking an injection or some sort of medication after my egg collection. I’m due to start the pesseries tonight but apart from that is it normal to not be taking anything else?

I think it’s because I’ve been doing 2 injections a night for the last few weeks so it feels odd not doing any at all now. I just feel like I should still be taking something and I’ve just forgotten or the nurse has forgotten to tell me!

Basically I’m just asking for reassurance that im not going mad and its normal to just be taking pesseries after egg collection?

100% not going mad and enjoy the fact its just the pessaries. If you can bear to do them rectally it is easier, less mess and you don't have to lie around afterwards xx

Thank you! It just feels so strange not having to take any injections! I’ve just done my first 2 and oh my gosh what a weird feeling! Not looking forward to taking 2 of those every day! 😂 xxx

It’s fine … you have so many meds upto collection it feels like after there’s nothing . U will be fine …. ❤️❤️ Xxx

Because it’s a fresh transfer, unlike a frozen one, all you normally need is a bit of progesterone support for the first few weeks as your body is doing the rest 🤗 xx
