Withdrawal bleed

Hey ladies

Had my cycle cancelled due to poor response. I'm wondering how long it took for people to have a withdrawal bleed? It's been nearly 3 weeks and nothing. They won't let me start again until I have a proper period, so obviously I'm feeling a bit impatient. It's typical that the time you actually want a period it doesn't come x

Hey mine was bang on day 29 the first period after the Ivf fail then the next not till day 36

With my first failed cycle it started within a few days. On my second failed cycle it was over three weeks... in the end I was prescribed Norethisterone tablets to induce the withdrawal bleed.

I had that withdrawal bleed and then phoned the clinic to start treatment again on day one of my next "natural" period.

It's frustrating waiting so I'm glad I was given the option of medication to feel more in control!

Hi exactly the same thing happened to me on our first cycle! After 53 days of no periods I was so fed up I (secretly) took some noeristhone for 5 days to get me started - it worked! Our next try we went all the way through the egg transfer (5 eggs, 3 fertilised, 1 3dt) and I am currently 26 weeks pregnant! Those 53 days were the most stressful and depressing but we got through it and look at the result! Hang in there it will come eventually and next time could be your turn. Good luck xxxxxxx

Thanks ladies, I'll give it a little while longer and if there's nothing I'll give the clinic a call and hopefully they will induce it x
