Bleed before baseline scan.

I'm currently on my down regulation. Do you have a little bleed or a full on period does anyone know?

I’ve just started my bleed yesterday and it’s the same as my normal period flow. I think it differs for everyone though. Hope that helps.xx

Thank you! Does it come around the same time that your period would have? I'm on a slightly longer down regulation (seems like ages!) it's just over three weeks! So I should have a bleed but feel like I'll have one then go for scan ages after! Xx

I’m the same Kirsty :). My downregulation is around 24 days and my bleed started on my 13th day of injections so about a week before my period would normally be due. My period would usually be around 3 days and today is the first full day so we shall see how long it lasts.xx

So just a quick update, my period lasted about 48 hours with some spotting the following day. This would not be unusual for me from a period point of view so my experience is it was about the same length and heaviness as normal. Hope all is going well for you.xx

Thank you! I’m getting more side effects now! Hot flushes being the main one! I think my period is likely to come in the next few days. I’ve had a few mild pains and I’m so tired! Oh and rather grumpy too! 🙈 I hope you’re well! Are you near to your baseline scan now? Xx

I’ve had some bad headaches the last couple of days but a mix of period, coming off night shifts and the heat could cause those as I’m a headachey person anyway. I’m otherwise not too bad. Not really had the hot flushes. I’m always tired (joys of shift work) but doesn’t seem any worse than normal lol. My baseline scan is in a week so getting close now. Day 17 injection done. Counting down the days. Hope you don’t feel too rotten with it all.xx

Hello I recently had a bleed it wasnt full flow, mine was alot lighter but lasted longer (10 days) then my usual period (5 days) xx

I’m glad you asked this hunny as it was something I was wondering about. I start down reg on the 6th take the tablets for 10 days so the 16th, then baseline Scan on 21st, now I know I don’t have overly long periods but I’m the opposite to what there doing with you guys and I’m only waiting 5 days which doesn’t seem enough, every clinic seems to be very different and there must be a readout for it, they just don’t explain your cycle in much detail do they!! X
