I was diagonised many yrs ago and my only chance was ivf. They saidy tubes are blocked... I had too lose weight for the free funding. Which I lost soo much but couldn't lose the last 1/2stone. I paid for a scan and they found a cyst as big as a grapefruit. They removed it and I continued too have pain.My husband had to return to Seychelles and I turned 40, soo my hope for ivf was gone..
3yrs later!! My husband is bak and I am bak on this road and been told I may have endo, soo more tests. I was soo annoyed with the nhs... I just joined this group and want to say I am so relieved, thank you I feel soo much betta as I am not alone in this struggle... Be strong!!

Hi Lidzz. Been away, so only just seen your post. So sorry to read that your cycle of IVF never got under way. It might be an idea to re-apply for funding as you didn’t actually have your NHS allocation, and some areas will fund you up to 42yrs of age. There are some template letters on our website for you to fill in and send off. Go to infertilitynetworkuk.com and click on NHS Funding (4th tab along). Scroll right down to the bottom of the page until you get to some pink writing. These are the letters. Once you have filled it in, see if your GP will add something in too, then post it to your CCG (Clinical Commissioning Group). You can find their address by clicking on a link on the NHS Fundng page. Do have a go, and should your husband go abroad again, make sure you get some of his sperm frozen beforehand. Good luck! Diane
