2WW & stress

Had my ET last Monday and have been quite positive up to now, but had a bad day at work, feel really teary & think my period is coming. I now keep thinking of the "what ifs" and think I am driving myself crazy! I test Friday but still that's three days to get my period. This is only my first cycle but I am stressing!

It might well just be cramps. I had a few days of cramps that felt like my period starting but then settled down. If you're on the pessaries, then they can actually cause cramps and bloating. So it could just be that. Try not to worry too much as ever symptom can also be explained as pregnancy symptom or side effect from pessaries. Nothing is proven or disproven until you take the test on Friday. Just take it easy as much as you can.

Best wishes, xxx

I'm sorry, the waiting doesn't get easier. And all the drugs leaving your system and the new ones entering cause hormonal chaos. All you can do is be kind to yourself and try and find a way to relax. Wishing you the best.

It's natural to stress and think about all the possible scenarios.

I remember during the 2ww of our first round, I said to my husband, if these aches and pains are my approaching period, it's going to be a hellish one...we got a positive that round :-)

Have an early night and try to put the bad day at work behind you...try to remain calm for the next few days...wishing you lots of luck x

Thanks all... I have had cramps since et and have been a bit constipated too. The clinic said I would definitely get some spotting as they found a pollup whilst they were doing the transfer and thought they may have knocked it but have had no spotting whatsoever. Not that I want it of course. xx

The second week is definitely harder! Try to keep yourself busy. My hubby dragged me out to the cinema one night. I could not face it but it really helped. I had cramps and sore boobs and definitely felt like my period was on its way but it wasn't and in the end I got my BFP. Good luck for the rest of the week! x

Hi hope it's all going well! I had terrible period cramps when my natural period was due (4 days before testing). Even told my hubby that it hadn't worked! But 4 days later got my BFP. Stay strong, not long now xxx

Hi all, my period isn't due for a few weeks but with all the meds/EC& ET I presumed it could come at any time. Hasn't come yet but still getting a teeny bit of spotting on and off. I must admit, I am getting a little scared of doing the test tomorrow & a little excited too! Xx
