Hello I was the same. I was too scared to wee and was bursting to go but the wee wouldn't come out! I think I'd scared myself so much about going so I was really uncomfortable on my way home after transfer. My transfer was 1st July and I got a BFP a couple of weeks later. I've switched to de-caf tea (Tetleys do a good one) and alternate that between those, fruit teas (also caffeine free) and water.
I was lucky to have two weeks off work after transfer so spent time at home resting but also doing little bits and bobs around the house.
Keep us posted with how it goes. Fingers crossed for you. Xxx
Hi Nicmic thats how i felt soon as i got to the toilet i felt like i couldnt wee lol my tummy is abit sore now im gonna go get my nails done in abit just to take my mind of things
Im off work atm aswell so quite nice to chill Im gonna visit family next week and then go for lunch with friends im on holiday on 22nd august so looking forward to that, congratulations did you do the test yourself or at the clinic Ive been asked to go back on 12th august but may do a test myself is today classed a day 0 or 1 as read different things xx
Hi Ro5ie I think the ET date is day 1 but I may be totally wrong. I had mine on 1st July and had to do a test on the 14th? I did a test myself (actually did two just in case!) and both were positive. But my embryos were transferred at day 2 rather than day 3 or 5.
Sounds like you have some nice things planned with your 2ww. It does go quite slowly because you just want to be able to do the test but try and relax as much as you can. The 2 weeks will eventually pass! please keep us posted on how things go and I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Xxx
Hello, I was told to test 14 days after ET too. I expected it to be from egg collection. I suppose the extra few days just ensure all the meds are definitely out your system and that you get an accurate result. Best of luck with your 2ww. I found watching box sets really helped!
