Hi all, just thought I'd share our good news. We had our first scan yesterday after our positive ICSI treatment, all is well, we have a strong little heartbeat at 7 weeks & 5 days, our due date is 22nd dec. so keep positive ladies, dreams do come true. Good luck to you all xxx

Hi Lccxb38. Just wanted to add my congratulations too! Glad you had you scan at 7/40wks as you are sure of seeing a little heartbeat. Although often seen at 6/40wks it still sometimes isn’t, and obviously causes alarm, as they have to then wait another week. Well, all I can say is to wish you a safe and healthy pregnancy and birth. My wedding anniversary is on the 23rd December! Diane

Thats great news!!! well done to you for getting to this stage, its always nice to hear success stories to keep everyone motivated to keep believing there is hope, i noticed before you had your ET you mentioned having fluid in your tubes an possibly having to have them clipped before going ahead...i just wondered wat the outcome was as i might be told this when the time comes, im still trying to figure if i will definately need the procedure doing or if there is the smallest chance i might not. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy x

Hi hope faith 😃, thank you xxx I was lucky because the fluid had cleared up by EC, I've been speaking to another girl on here and she was the same & it cleared up. Good luck what ever road you have to take xxx

Thank you, still abit of a way to go but i like to know all the ins and outs of what maybe expected, at least now i know if i do have the same issue it may not have to be a problem if it manages to clear itself up x

I ended up having both tubes removed and then became pregnant through IVF, so if it does come to that, I know it is very hard to take in but just know it is not the end xxx

Thanks for that also...either way ill do wat i have to if it helps to reach our goal of completing our family, im jus abit nervous about having surgery again

If it helps, the surgery to remove my tubes wasn't too bad at all, small keyhole, not too painful and it healed really fast xx

Thats gud ive had a lap done in 2013 didnt find it that bad and recovered in around 10 days fully, im not sure why im so anxious now and i havent even been told i definatly need it yet

I totally understand - its a big deal even if your head tells you it is the right thing to do, potentially having a bit of your reproductive system removed (when all you want is a baby) is really scary emotionally xx

Hey Sarah, I'm wishing u all the luck in the world. I've seen your test, mine was only faint at first, do another first thing tomorrow. I had my ET on 6th April but they add 2 weeks on because it should be from the date of the last period (although we don't have one) if that makes sense. Let me know how u get on lovely xx

Lol hey Hun x I've been testing everyday and their still

Positive their actually getting stronger x butnim worried as I did have a bleed exactly a week after they out the balstocyst back in I bled for 3 days when I stared bleeding I had a negative test then on the Saturday when I was actually due to test that's when it was really faint x I'm trying to work out when my scan would be butni don't get it lol x my ET was done on 29th April I thought it would go from then? My last proper period was 4 April then I was due on 2 may which obv I didn't but then did bleed from 7th may x so wudnt go from the 2nd May lol xxx this prob makes no sence lol x

Hey hun, it's all confusing so don't worry lol. This is why I like this site, ask away. I had my 5d egg transferred on 6th April & scan 5 weeks later on 12th may. Have you told your clinic you have a positive? They'd usually give you a scan either way? Xx

Lol yeah i have x they want me to retest sat so a week after my first positive and if it's still

Positive they then will book me in for a scan x I will kno on Monday x think they ask u to test a week later after first positive to maybie rule out chemical pregnancy maybie I don't kno? Xxxx

Awww a bet you are, even when it is positive you worry. I did a about 10 tests in total, last one only on Monday just gone lol. Just keep strong, rest & get plenty of TLC from the other half 😉. I've got everything crossed for you sweetheart xxx

Thanks Hun x only 10tests lol gosh think I've done about 12 just since last Saturday x and I went a brought another 6 today inc 2 clear blue digital Plus I've ordered 50 of those 10imu ones from eBay lol x camt help but test every morning xxxxxx
