Hi ladies, had early scan today thinking I was imagining pregnancy and around 6 weeks. All good and both very shocked to say the least, especially when told we were measuring 8 weeks 3 days 🫣🫣🫣 went with Ultrasound Direct who were amazing 🥰🥰 I even hugged the sonographer xx

Congratulations! 🥳🥰 I just did the maths of a 5 day transfer on the 29th March and the calculation makes it 8weeks three days on Sunday bang on. They never measured mine and changed the date because they say they don’t with ivf (because it’s exact) so it might be just that you had the wrong weeks calculated - as you’re measuring exact for the age of your embryo 😄

Thank you xx when I had my Beta back on the 27th it said 5-6 weeks so I just assumed I’d be 6-7 weeks. It blows my mind 🥰🥰🥰

Yey! You’ve skipped a couple of weeks! With ivf there’s no question how old the embryo is so I think that’s why they don’t re date it (or they didn’t for me) basically to work it out you take the age at transfer (mostly 5 days) work back to zero (that’s the day you turn a week) and go back two weeks (because how they measure is actually 40 weeks from the first day of period) and that’s the start date for any due date calculators!

Hi, I think we transferred on the same day. Unfortunately mine looks to be a missed miscarriage. I hope you don’t mind me asking but I’ve had a quick look at your history and seen you went down the DE route. Is this from a DE transfer? I’m beginning to lose faith in my OE at 43.

Sorry to hear that xx I didn’t get that far with my own. We decided last year to go DE. We went to Cyprus in March and here we are. Best decision we made. I’ve just turned 41.
