Bleeding.

Hello all. I had a postiive on Tuesday confirmed by blood test on Wednesday. Was always spotting since then. But this morning it seems to have got a bit heavier. Not in pain as such but I feel uncomfortable in my tummy area. Now in a bit of a panic. Will be calling clinic soon. Really hoping all is ok. :( xx

Hi Piglet12 congratulations once again for your positive, when I got my positive I also had bit of spotting which disappeared after 1 day, my clinic says that its normal sometime to have spotting but to keep an eye not to turn into proper bleeding. I suppose you should have informed your clinic bit earlier that you have any kind of spotting as they can offer you higher dosages of progrestoren, atleast thats what s happen to me. I hope your spotting to stop I know how stressful it is, I keep my fingers cross that everything goes well for you. Take care and take plenty of fluids and rest xxx

Hello thanks for reply. And thank you. They knew I had spotting told nurse that when I went for the blood test on the Wednesday. :) but now it has got a little heavier I am worried. :/ almost in tears. I am drinking plenty. And getting plenty of rest. So scared its gone wrong xx

Have now phoned clinic and spoke to a lovely nurse who told me to increase cyclogest and that should stop the bleeding. So let's hope so. Xx

Thats good, I have my cyckigest 3 times a day for the same reason and I suppose it worked as my spotting stopped within a day. Also you have been lucky that you have a blood test as my clinic does not offer it even on request so basically I trust the pregnancy test and wait for the 6 week scan which mine is due today and i am feeling really stress about it, i hope everything goes fine.

I hope your spotting stop after the increase dosage, try to keep calm and positive xxx

Good luck with your scan sweetie. Hope all goes well. I do feel lucky to have a blood test to confirm it. I think it's crazy that all clinics don't do that. Even if on nhs. It was part of our package. I feel much calmer now. And having a couple hours of work before going back. For the last two hours. And my partners mum used to be a counsellor for expectant mothers so is a great help. rang her first. :) lots of hugs. Xx

Glad to hear it Piglet. I'm not great right now - still TTC naturally this month and AF due tomorrow - pretty sure I had menstrual cramp yesterday so had a few tears. Still, I should be used to it by now. Good luck and let me know how you get on xx

in reply toseekingpeace

I will do. So sorry your not great right now. I hope either way you get some good news soon. And no it's ok not to be used to it. When we want something so much. So don't feel bad for having tears. Its normal to. I was the same when we had a fail and got faced with a mum or dad who only wanted a baby to get benefits. made me so upset. So take care sweetie and keep me informed. Xx

Hey. Am really hoping your bleeding as stopped now. Its so scary having bleeding isnt it? Thank goodness mine was ok but it scared the crap out of me so I know how you felt. Am glad the clinic reassured u tho-what date do you have ur scan? Lets hope its all plain sailing from now on! xx x

in reply tobella79

Hello. Belle79. How are you. It has not stopped. It seems to get lighter and then a bit heavy again. So I'm worrying again now. But it's only when I go to the loo. Otherwise it's just spotting. (Barley anything) so I'm confused. Will be phoning the clinic again tommrow. My scan is the 27th of this month. I dont know what to do. :( x

Without being manky-is it browny colored?! Think that means old blood coming through. Have u spoke to ur clinic today? I would give them a call. Im sure it nothing to worry about as you hear so many stories about people bleeding during pregnancy and everything turns out fine. I had no idea it was so common to bleed. But I also know how scary it is so I really feel for u. Can u not push ur clinic into getting u in for an early scan. Or is it too early? Im sure if they are not too concerned then it will be fine. The worst thing is, is that u cant stop thinking about it as every time u go to the toilet-there it is reminding u! Why does it have to be so difficult even after u have a positive test result-its not fair! U would think we deserve an easy ride. Are u taking it easy and resting-do u still have to go into work? Maybe u could get some time off to see if that helps? Am hoping and praying that it stops soon so u don't have any more worrying. Thinkin of u xxx

in reply tobella79

Hello. Not it's not. It's dark then bright red. I will be speaking to them tommrow as they did say that it could take a couple of days to sort its self out. It might be to early. But will see what they say tommrow. I have also just spoken to a friend who had twins via Ivf and she said she had terrible pain and bleeding when pregnant with them and they are now 11. So feel relieved all ready. Plus the support from you. :) I'm am taking it easy and resting. I am back at work. But only light duties. And I have had today and tommrow off. So not doing much. I'm really hoping it stops to. thank you for your kind words and support. Xx

Thank you hopeful1982. I will be phoning them tommorow and see what they say. My friend did say it was very common to bleed in early pregnancy as you have said to. So I'm trying to hold onto that. I'm so hoping everything is ok to. X

I know how difficult it is to not worry tho- but keep strong and keep thinking about all the positive stories u have heard and how urs wil b another story that ends well to give someone comfort in the future! Hopefully the clinic can reassure u further tomorrow xxx
