Despite dealing with a zero sperm count and a very low AMH.. I have tested positive 9day post blastocyst transfer.. It really does show that miracles are possible and never to loose hope....

WOW WOW WOW, that is truly fantastic news - I am so so happy for you - CONGRATS. You must feel so happy. Well done.

So amazing to read this, I had a sleepless night due to thinking about IVF, low AMH and whether to even try it (I'm nearly 40) This gives me hope, just as this story I copied below does (I have to re-read it every so often, because I also have severe endo on ovaries, a few surgeries, alot of pain, and low AMH of 3.2 over 2 years ago).

I share this link with you as it shows it can result in a healthy baby. fertilityfriends.co.uk/foru...

How was your FSH etc? Mine has always been ok but the AMH not okay. Anyway, that doesn't really matter now because you have such a great result.

Enjoy every moment and all the very very best to you. Keep us updated. xx

hi thank you. My AMH was only 0.57 when tested at St Marys in Manchester - they refused to treat us on the NHS as there cut off point was 2. SO we had to go private. My FSH was ok between 6-8 and my AFC was 8-11. If we hadn't have gone private and took the chance then it would have never happened. St Marys said I would have to use doner eggs.. let me know how you get on.. What stage are you at? I am 37

please where did you go private and how much did you pay, I have gone through one ectopic in which I have lost the left tube n done a scan which they say that my right tube is blocked. so my only option now is ivf. can you please let me know where and how much it cost.

We are private, don't even get 1 NHS where we live in the South - very frustrating. I hardly use the NHS, all my endo ops have been private as well, due to the fact GPs don't really care about endo or infertility. But to be honest, I'd remortgage if I thought it would make us parents. I also had to leave my job (voluntarily) due to the endo. I'm lucky I have a hugely supportive husband. My uncertainty about IVF is due to the very low AMH, severe endo with ovarian endometrioma cysts, and now I have a bulky uterus (possibly adenomyosis).

I'll be 40 mid next year. My delays in going for IVF are also due to suffering a fair bit of pain. Some months are worse than others and I need to get over a bad month, get fit and then just go for it. I will prob try 3 times with own eggs, depending on results, then go for donor eggs. Hubby has no issues.

Other than the endo I should be very healthy, never smoked, don't drink alcohol and rarely have caffeine. No weight issues but saying that my middle is pretty plump despite 'looking' slim, which doesn't help the endo at all (fat around the middle apparently holds oestrogen which drives the endo). So I need to get healthy. Don't feel healthy enough yet.

But you have inspired me, because I was feeling really defeated by it all. All my friends have babies now, other than a few old work colleagues who are trying. Infertility becomes very isolating, and people don't seem to understand how horrendous it is.

Keep us updated, take care of yourself and enjoy every minute.

Wow incredible news congrats. Much needed boost for me too. I have low AMH and severe endo which was removed earlier this year but still no BFP. Just started Ivf privately and felt low yday after seeing low follicle count. This has been a welcome boost to hang in there xx

I am in South Wales at clinic called CRGW. They're aware of my circumstances as I has my surgery notes and notes from previous icsi cycles with Nhs. I'm doing my stims now. Costs vary but 1 cycle of icsi is £3900 not including meds. They offer package of 3 cycles for £7800 not including meds so I went for that based on my previous and less pressure all round. Hope it all goes good with you? Where are you based? x

just read your posts about costs - that much cheaper than were we were,.our total was around 10K but that was the SSR, plus extras like the embroglue, scratch and embryo scope. However the ICSI was 5100 and my drug were 1800

Hey I'm since finding my drugs bill is going up as not had enough as as higher dosages!! Your icsi is a bit more expensive tho.
