We are 2 weeks away from beginning the ICSI and wonder if anyone has advice on what to do and not to do, things to eat to increase chances etc

Any advise on the weeks leading up to ICSI, what to do and not to do
Hi LRH001. I've just started the stims for ICSI. I started things in January because apparently it takes 3 months for things to chance. I stopped having take aways, started taking supplements including CoEnzyme Q10, hot water bottle on my tummy every day, no cold food and drinks and started acupuncture. Good luck with everything.
Hi We would be looking at ICSI too - can I ask why the hot water bottle and no cold food/drinks? is this before your treatment or during it? thanks
Hi nellynel. My friend, who's ivf worked, saw a Chinese consultant who specialised in women with fertility problems. She said to eat and drink everything warm or ambient temperature because it helps to warm the womb. The hot water bottle also does the same. I've tried to find the leaflet she gave me with the website but must have binned it. There are such things as `cold foods` for example bananas. No idea why but haven't eaten them since January either. The consultant was in Sheffield if that's any help to Google it.
You are welcome. Glad I could help you and like you say every little helps. I also upped my protein I take too ie nuts, seeds and eggs. Fed up with egg sandwiches now though lol. Good luck with your cycle.
