First, wanted to thank you all for your support few weeks ago... I was feeling so bad and so lonely! So thxxx!
I'm feeling a bit better, ups and downs as I'm sure you are all living at times!
Now, the question is what do I do? Start FET next month or wait a bit? I see the good but also bad in both choices... What would you do? Plus 1 or 2 embryos? We so far always put only 1 as we were concerned to have twins and our families are abroad...
That's the debate! Please share your views to help me decide.

My clinic were very encouraging about going for frozen transfer quickly and explained there’s no need to have a big gap, though in my case that’s between EC and ET, not sure what your circumstances are. Only you can decide how many to put back but if you really don’t think twins are for you then why do it? Xx
My hubby was scared of having twins. I'm starting to see this as our only possibility to have 2 kids. Indeed, I'm not sure after these 3 embryos left, I would have enough will and energy to try again!
Not too sure, thus always good to hear from advice from you all!
Ok. My suggestion would be wait for two to three months. Take a break and enjoy loads of Easter 🐣 eggs. Then do a double transfer. I'm the same age as you. I've done two single transfers. First resulted in a chemical pregnancy. Second in a BFN. I'm definitely going for a double transfer next time. All the best x
I'm starting indeed to move towards 2 embryos... I just need to prepare my hubby! He is stressed about having 2 kids at the same time, as he is working a lot, and I will have to manage everything myself! But on the other hands, if we are not doing it, I may regret! But few weeks ago, he saw me so bad, that he told me he would do whatever I think is best! Basically, we need to discuss again.
Yes, I will wait a bit... until May I think, as I'm still a bit down, so need to wait for the sunny days to lift up my mood and also our holidays probably. But as we all know waiting is difficult...
I had my fresh cycle in September and frozen in December. Going for a second fresh round in august. The plan was to do a second frozen transfer around Easter but when the thawed my three embryos in December only one survived. I was talking to the doc about my fears of twins but she really encouraged saying I would find a way to cope. The way I look at it I would rather have twins than nothing.
My family were always encouraging me to do a double transfer from the start. I kinda think I should’ve listened to them now. Also many people have double transfer and end up with a single pregnancy
I know it is a hard decision to choose between a single and multiple FET. However, when the transfer date is due a decision has to be made. It is because of this reason that I want to look at the merits of both single and multiple embryo transfers. First, it is important to note that fertility medicine has many treatment options and thus gives the user a wide range of options from which to choose. After you have made the choices, it is necessary that you keep track of the choices including pros and cons. Notice that both single and multiple transfers have risks and advantages. For instance, it is common sense that multiple embryo transfers are likely to lead to successful implantation. Unfortunately, they can result in multiple pregnancies which may lead to health complications. The body that is in charge of IVF has set limits on the possible number of transfers. For women who are between 41 -42 years, and who have less chance of implementation can have a maximum of 5 embryos transferred. Women who are younger may have a maximum of 3. The argument is that the younger the age the more opportunities a woman has. Also, the risks involved in carrying pregnancies increase with the number of transfers. Twin pregnancy has the risks increased by two times. The mother faces the risk of permanent and physical disability, and even death. So, my dear, the destiny of your life is in your hand. I recommend that you go for a single transfer.
