I was wondering if anyone has taken any vitamins leading up their transfer and if so which ones.

Thank you!

Any conception or pregnancy multi vitamin is fine, the important ingredients are folic acid and vit D. I took strongstart from natures best. You should avoid anything with vitamin A and skincare containing retinol. Eat well, plenty of veg and drink 2+ litres of water daily to stay hydrated. Good luck xx

Hi Lind. I'm not a great believer in loads of vitamin supplements. As long as you're having a pre-conception multivitamin that has the required amount of Folic Acid and Vitamin D which are both important, then that should suffice. Speak o your clinic to see whether they advise about any more. Good luck! Diane

Hello Lind58, I am taking Pragnacare multi vitamin tablets, folic acid is must (take 400 micrograms) and I also take D vitamin tablets on daily basis. I asked my doctor if I need to stop during ET she told me take all those above vitamin tablets that I am taking. Hope this helps x

Hi there

A month out, I’m taking 800iu vit E

2000 vit D

Prenatal with folate

Then I’ll start L-arginine when I start estrogen and stop before transfer

I decided to take these based on the recommendations in It starts with the egg (2nd Ed). Not sure if they’ll make any difference but here’s hoping!
