Egg collection tomorrow!

So I had a scan on Saturday - uterus lining was 10mm which she said was spot on and they were counting 16 (R) 10(L) follicles few. I continued drugs on Sunday and yesterday and then was back there yesterday for 2nd scan, I have 13 follicles measuring 17mm plus then lots more smaller ones. I took my trigger last night and I am back there tomorrow morning for egg collection. Early night for me tonight, we will need to set off at 5am to get there for 8am and apt is 9.30am. My boobs are rather tender now, and tummy just feels 'heavy' is only way I can explain it. The trigger shot I did it in my tummy and its the only one that left red mark and its this morning is a little tender to touch. Excited for the next step, but a little nervous about the whole egg collection process but sure I will be fine but I've read a little sore after. xxx

It went ok, I had the same problem with sedation, but other than that I had 10 eggs collected and have learnt today 5 have fertilised!. A huge improvement on last time although it's still early days 🤞

Feeling bloated and a bit uncomfortable, but that's what sofas are for! Let me know how you get on, will be thinking of you x

Thats great news - will be keeping everything crossed for you on those embabies. Ahh so have you taken some time off work after EC, I was expecting to be ok to come back to work on Thursday (desk job) ....didnt want to take anymore time off this week had yesterday and tomorrow and then all next week im going to be off with a 'cold and flu' xx

Thank you lovely ☺ I dont seem to recover quickly from EC so thought it best to take the week off, although everyone is different. See how you feel, if you dont feel up to it, bring your 'cold' a bit further forward! Xx

Hi! I'm literally at the same stage as you! did my trigger shot last night, and have egg collection tomorrow!! My boobs are also quite sensitive and have niggling back pain, but like you so excited for tomorrow! Cant believe its here, another step on the journey!

I'm also in the same boat as you guys... Trigger last night, had 13 follicles at last scan in Friday all measuring between 12 and 25mm. Booked in for collection tomorrow at 9.40am. Rather excited and nervous at the same time! Tummy hurts today but guessing that's the trigger causing that. Fingers crossed and best of luck to us all 🤞🤞🤞
