Start my icsi process soon
Hi there, after my prostap injection I then had to have af then the process started properly. Af took a few days longer to arrive than normal. After that I had a base line scan and bloods and then they told me when to start the jags. They then do more bloods and scans to see when best to book in for egg collection. Really really don't worry about the jags and ec. Those are the bits that worried me beforehand and it was all no bother. The worst bit (for me) was a bit of ohss pain. Good luck!
Thank you for the help I now understand better I have had injections before when we tried iui but I had Ohss on both attempts on low dose of meds so they were abandoned then we were at the top of the list for ivf so it got cancelled completely. My Oh needs to give work 7 days notice of his day off for EC dunno if this is going to be possible tho! x
I would recommend having 2 weeks off. I know it's sometimes difficult but trust me you will enjoy the rest. The whole process isn't that bad. I've just finished it and found out yesterday that I'm pregnant but its taught me just to relax and take things easy. I have my own business and have to sort out a lot of people but it did me good to relax. Good luck and take it easy . sprinkling baby dust over you xxx
Congratulations on your pregnancy I look after mum just now as she is very poorly so having time off is going to be a struggle tbh but I will manage the odd day here and there for some relaxation and I will try and keep my stress levels down and take it a lot easier than normal with no heavy lifting. Thanks for the advice tho xx
