Hi Danielle again!!

That is great they have caught that now. I was found to have both swollen tubes after my first IVF attempt, only when they were extracting the embryos and they wouldn't stop the cycle. Of course it didn't work. So that is great news that are going to remove it, rather than clip it. As swollen tubes can cause pelvic pain, and the tube can continue to swell if left inside, so they may only need to remove it at a later date. It will give you a much better chance of conceiving now, and probably explains as you say why you did not conceive last time. I hope you go into the transfer now feeling so much more confident.

All the best with the op to remove the tube.

Hi Miwa, of course I will be more confident with the embryos in the future and im so glad ive caught this now as ive only had 1 embryo transfer which I think I can get over! Ive also had my other tube removed 9 years ago due to an eptopic pregnancy so no tubes means no toxic fluid that can play havoc with my embryos. xx

Hi Danielle. Sorry to hear this. How do you get swollen tubes in the first place? Once its removed how long before you can have your FET? X

Hi Crystal, I would of got the swollen tube from the past situation of my ectopic pregnancy in my right tube which was removed as if you have one bad tube then there is an increased chance the other tube will be bad too so that is obviously the case with me but once it is removed there will be no harmful toxins from the tubes getting to my embryo then the ivf will have a much better chance of working, I think the clinic will see how I am after the operation then move me on with the frozen cycle. Its for the best I get the tube out, its not doing me any good and I certainly can not conceive with it. x
