IVF consultation.. good questions to ask?

Hi, I have a consultation tomorrow with a private clinic. I am going to ask them about their views on bio melatonin to improve egg quality and dhea and also about endometrial scratch.. not sure what else to ask except for the price and tests. Do you have any tips? thanks xxx

I've just had my first consultation and we asked how long the process would take (were advised to take Christmas into consideration as labs would be closed!). We were also advised to see if our GP would carry out some of the initial blood tests (they will!) which can save money so ask about that. It was a bit of a blur to be honest as 'd worked myself up into a frenzy over so many things and I just felt relief that I had finally got somewhere!

Hi yah I've been and it was good thanks. They also said about the 2 week break over Christmas. I liked the consultant he seemed to be very reliable. We might manage to do a cycle before Christmas depending on when my next period starts. Are you having yours in London? how did yours go ? did you get a good feeling about the clinic?

It's great that your GP will do the tests for you! you'll save some money

I felt so tired afterwards! partly because we had to wake up super early and partly because I had worked myself up over it and then felt relief after it was over.

My GP is on maternity leave, she is super nice. I have met one other gp at that surgery, he was really difficult but I went in this morning and said to the secretary that I have fertility issue and wished to speak to someone "nice" who is also a female. She gave me an appointment for later today with a female doctor so I will know then if she'll do the tests. Not sure what will happen, fingers crossed.
