is it normal to get cramps? Egg transferred monday last week, blood test Thursday....

Hi sootyann. Yes, it is quite common to get abdominal cramps. Remember that you have been through many procedures moving ovaries, jarring your womb and puncturing you vaginal wall, it is no wonder “objections” happen. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water to help your ovaries to settle down again. If you need to take a pain killer, then paracetamol is safe as per instructions on box/bottle. Should it persist, then you need to check with your GP that all is well. Keeping fingers crossed for you. Kind regards. Diane

This is totally normal. I had a lot of menstrual type cramps following my egg transfer, take some paracetamol and take things easy. There is hopefully a lot going on inside you at the moment.
