Hi, sorry to hear this. This can be common in the first trimester I read. Call your epu unit or if heavy bleeding go to a&e. Epu will probably ask you how many pads you have used in 1 hour.
If you read my post/comment history you will see my experience with early bleeding. In short, I started having bleeding and some cramping quite early on and this continued until around 9 weeks. No definite cause was found but I suspect it was irritation from the pessaries. All was fine and my little boy is now 6 months old 😊
I think if it's fresh red blood then that is when there might be some concerns but even then I have read stories of people with heamatomas. Can you speak to your clinic? Mine arranged for HCG blood tests to reassure me things were still on track.
I had heavy fresh red bleeding and lost lots of clots. I bleed for weeks. Kept thinking it was all over but luckily all was fine. My clinic wouldn’t see me until the official scan date but the EPU at my hospital were amazing and got me in weekly for scans. My little one is now 4 months old. I did have 5 weeks bed rest. They said I had a haematoma above the pregnancy sack. Which luckily my body absorbs by 12 week scan.
Absolutely normal to be so anxious! I was so so nervous. Honestly the EPU were amazing and so understanding, explain your situation. It gave me so much piece of mind to go in for extra scans.
