Sore throat at 9 weeks

Hi ladies!Did any of you have to deal with similar situation ? Are we not allowed to take cough syrup? Can we have Strepsils? I am trying to sip warm water to keep it down. Do you suggest I meet my doctor? Looks like some bug, got mild hear body ache too. Any suggestions would really help.

Hi, I went to my doctor when i had a sore throat as i wasn't sure what to take and he prescribed me something safe for baby.

I didn't take cough syrup or strepsils.

Thanks Leii. I met the doctor and he has prescribed some safe medicines. Hopefully I will feel better in couple of days

Hi! I took ginger tea and manuka honey for colds whilst pregnant. Manuka lozenges too. Hope you feel better soon!
