I’m sure I’m getting a bit ahead of myself as I’m only 7 weeks pregnant, but wondering on which are the best pregnancy skincare products - myexpertmidwife or bio oil etc?
Would love any recommendations. And wondered at what stage ppl start using these type of products?
I also have a big unopened jar of coconut oil (originally bought for something else) so does anyone have experience of using that?
Thanks xx

I used almond oil with both my pregnancies and started from getting the blood results. It is great, but does take a while to soak in so it did end uo marking some of my clothes/pjs.
I used Burts' Bees stretch mark cream and was very happy with it. No stretch marks but it may well be that this is genetic. I started using it when the skin on my belly started to itch, don't remember which week of the pregnancy that was.
I just used bio oil, but agree with a previous poster that I do think it’s generic. I didn’t get stretch marks and nor did my mum with me & my twin, so I think it’s luck of the draw!
I used it just in the evenings and started when I started showing, so probably around 14-15 weeks Xx
Last pregnancy I started using a gel that's technically for use after laser hair removal and scars but was recommended by a beautician who said she used it in all her pregnancies and didn't get stretch marks. I didn't get any until about the last 2 weeks and thdn weirdly found a few more after the birth, so thought I'd got away with it but hadn't. I think it's mainly genetic whether you get them and how bad, maybe also to do with how big you are, shape and how quickly. The ones I had faded very quickly and can't see them now, so not necessarily a big deal if you do. I haven't really bothered this time and will probably only start if my stomach starts itching, just for comfort. Things like baby oil in bath or shower oil seem to work quite well at keeping the skin soft too.
