chorionic bump? Any body else experienced this?

Hi all

I had my 6 wks scan today and report mentions this.

The nurse or person doing the scan did not mention about this issue.

I saw this on the report on my nhs app when I got home.

Is this something to be worried about?

Any experiences to share plz?

There appears a highly hyperechoic area protruding from the surface into the gestation sac measuring suggestive of chorionic bump.

Hi Preety. Hopefully as the placenta keeps forming, the bump will disappear eventually. More of a worry when several occur. Fingers crossed all willprogress as it should. Diane
