CRL measurement at scan 6w 4d

I keep thinking of questions I wish I had asked during the scan on Friday but think I was overwhelmed and now regret not asking more šŸ˜‚ on the scan pic it was 5.9mm. Does that mean 5.9 weeks/days equivalent?

Now wondering if we are measuring behind x

always happens doesnā€™t it, I always think I should have asked certain things! So I donā€™t think it would equate to 5.9 days but I might be wrong. Just have a Google of crl measurements by week/day and you should get your answer, or call your scan place back up. If they were concerned about measurements they would have told you )I hope!). Hope this helps ā¤ļø

Iā€™m seeing on Google, I know I shouldnā€™t lol, that people are measuring as 7.5mm extra when they are as far along as me! So would mean Iā€™m really behind growth wiseā€¦ itā€™s worrying! X

I know how worrying it is, Iā€™ve been there myself and sometimes dr Google isnā€™t kind šŸ’• Iā€™d give them a call and see what they say, hopefully put your mind at ease ā™„ļø

Hello lovely. Call back wherever you had your scan and ask them to explain the results. May be you were even looking at the wrong thing on the screen xxx

hi, i just checked mine from 6+3 and it was 6.00. They said thatā€™s fine but a bit on the smaller side. But at this point not too much of a concern and the fact that everything is there plus heartbeat is reassuring. Iā€™m just holding out til thurs now! X

Thanks thatā€™s really useful to know! We are about the same then which is reassuring. Also got my clinic viability scan on Thursday. I think it just worried me that if itā€™s on the smaller side it might mean that itā€™s not growing properly which could indicate a chromosome issue etc - well thatā€™s what Google told me! I need to stay off Google! Will be interested to see what they say my measurements are on Thursday x

haha yes google can be a dangerous place! Iā€™m trying to just wait for the scan - and in the meantime take the lack of heavy bleeding as a good sign!

ļ»æI would give them a call for clarification. Finger's crossed all ok

Hey! I wasnā€™t sure so I looked back at my scan photos and at 6wk 6 days we measured 5.5mm and currently at 32 weeks without any problems so far. So looks like your little embaby is measuring well! Hopefully thatā€™ll reassure you! Good luck! The constant panic for approx first 20 weeks is intense (it then becomes intermittent panic šŸ˜‰)

Thank you thatā€™s really thoughtful of you to look back for me, that does super reassure me šŸ„° congratulations to you! I totally agree these first weeks are anxiety inducing šŸ™ˆ why does each day feel like a year? šŸ˜‚

6.0mm at that gestation puts baby pretty much bang on the 50th centile researchgate.net/figure/Rel... so all looks good. There is always going to be some variation between babies but I certainly wouldn't be worried with that measurement at all. Wishing you a happy, healthy pregnancy ahead xx

Hi hun, as others said it seems pretty good for that gestation! And I have been there and pretty much compared our little bean measurements at every scan with the ā€˜normalā€™ and drove myself crazy! In the end now 35 weeks and she was always 3-5 days behind but seems absolutely fine and no one ever said anything concerning about the scan results. It was just me that worried about every little thing. Not easy to switch off but do tell your self that when it is so tiny even the tiniest measurement difference between sonographers will result in days of a difference.

If in doubt call your scan place as they know what to look for and if they are not worried, try to take their view and enjoy that things are good at this time šŸ„° congratulations by the way!
