Seems like fairly mild symptoms so far but a wheezy cough.....
Anyone else have a mild dose?
Fingers firmly crossed it doesn't get worse....

oh no! Bad luck - have you had your jabs?
I had my booster yesterday and it’s knocked me for six, never had a reaction before but in bed with temperature. Hope yours doesn’t get any worse x
I had all previous 3, and my booster last Friday - but not sure if that was enough time to make the symptoms stay mild....
How frustrating....
I wonder if I need to tell my midwife?

definitely tell your midwife. I’m sure you’ll be fine as the latest strain isn’t that bad but she might want to monitor you
Ugh sorry lovely. Cases are really picking up in the UK at the moment which sucks. I would let your midwife know: they apparently often prescribe some kind of blood thinner just as a precaution against clots. If you’re at all worried, you can also buy an oximeter online; it allows you to keep an eye on your oxygen levels and pulse so can be v reassuring!
If you had your jab a week ago hopefully that’ll be some protection and it will be mild 🙏🏻

Thanks, I will call the number tomorrow. My heart is racing at the moment but no high temperature yet.

I had it at 15 wks. It was quite mild too but I was generally fine after a few days. The sickness bug I caught off the back of it was worse! Really knocked me out…but no long term effects! Look after yourself and keep hydrated!
Hope you start feeling better soon!
Thank you! Had a good chat with the midwife and they will keep checking on me. X

Update: Just writing this in case anyone gets covid and is worried.
I had the booster 3 days before I came in contact with someone who had covid.
Feeling so much better day 3 since I tested positive. Midwife advised a lot of fluids, paracetamol and moving around due to blood clot risks. She said she would have prescribed something if I had had IVF, but this was a Letrozole/cyclogest pregnancy.
Moving around has been a great help - even did online pregnancy yoga this morning.
I can see the light now - but will book a scan for when I am better to check all is ok.
