6 weeks pregnant, Mucus Plug coming out?

I can't find definite answers on this. Hoping someone could enlighten me.

I am having brownish to pinkish (sometimes with tissues) discharge/spotting for a couple of days now. Earlier as I went to pee, I felt something came out and saw this clear blob of jelly thing. I search for it online and saw the term "mucus plug" but I see that it only comes off when you are nearing your labor. It came off with a hint of blood.

My question is: is this fairly normal for someone who's 6-7weeks pregnant? If not, can someone enlighten me with possible causes.

I reached out to my OB but still not getting back to me. Thanks.

(Note, greenish blue particles are soap)

Thanks for your thoughts, Hidden Unfortunately, it was the baby. Nothing can be seen in my TVs. We just got home sobbing

Are you using any gel / suppositories at all? I have myself a scare when the crinone gel solidified and came out in lumps

Not using any . Just came home from ultrasound. This is heartbreaking, no baby. OB said it might be the baby

I'm so sorry, this is so sad and just a crushing disappointment Xx

I had a mmc a few months ago and found some reassurance that I was able to get pregnant and my uterus was doing what it was meant to, it just wasn't the right egg that time. Stats show that women who have had a MMC are more likely to go on to conceive next round than women who have never been pregnant. Please don't despair, it will happen for you.

I realise this may be no comfort to you just now, again I'm so sorry for your loss and hope you're ok Xx
