Congratulations! She's a cutie! Don't forget we run a parent and child group for those who have reached parenthood via a fertility journey. I'll post details on here but please do join us (children welcome) if you're not taking advantage of nap time when it's on! It's usually mid morning but I'm currently running a few polls to get the most preferred times from people so this may change.
She is growing nicely and is absolutely gorgeous. We are 4 weeks in now and my c-section cut is healing nicely too. Looks like we have now for a handle on the colic (fingers crossed) now to get her to sleep in her cot! We’re still not sleeping much so I am not able to read this forum as much as I want, but I’m sure things will get better soon xx
Omg look at her 😍 she’s so petite. Aww glad you are managing her colic it’s awful for themIsn’t it. I am wondering if we are too lucky with sleep……..it may change 🥴
We spent the weekend out and about and it was just lovely! Feel like I am the only one with a baby when we go out 😂xx
Oh little tip for her cot…..roll a towel up and curve it put it under her sheet so it surrounds her. They did it in hospital when we went in for jaundice and I’ve carried on doing it!
She started out sleeping quite well but it all changed with the colic. Lovely you’re getting g out and about and building confidence handling a little one whilst out as well. We’ve take. A few train trips and getting the hang of manoeuvring the pram up and down curbs and stairs. I still can’t believe my luck!
Omg that is the most gorgeous picture and leaves me wondering why our babe doesn’t like the car seat as much as yours 😂C-section… any tips for how I can get rid of this six month pregnancy bump? 😏 not allowed to do core exercises yet… or maybe I am around now and don’t intend to diet until after my holiday end of sept… but skin already looks slightly loose down there and worried dieting will leave skin even looser if done quickly. My upper abdomen is also still somewhat bloated.
Oh she loves her car seat! She’s only just started to like the pram though. Honestly she’s just easy going 🤷🏼♀️Oh I am definitely not thinking about exercising yet 😂 one thing having HG did for me is I didn’t put on that much weight. But I am quite jiggly 😆 I’ve still got some pain at the end of my scar where a stitch hasn’t dissolved and it’s pulling. Trying to get it seem too.
My bump was very big and out front and it just hasn’t all gone down yet. I have stress incontinence too so it’s a problem just going for a walk so no idea how I start exercise in any other way. Oh well 🤷🏻♀️
Awww she’s so gorgeous!! So happy for you. Thank you for the update! So looking forward to seeing my little one too. I am on week 34 now and have only put on 7 kg during the pregnancy although I was slightly overweight to start with by a few covid kilos… 😆. Did you at least manage to pile up some weight in those last 4 weeks? I am struggling with appetite so it’s always at the back of my mind despite baby having shown a healthy average weight throughout…
Ah wow, very healthy weight! Let’s see how much I will keep as I am not usually in a rush to exercise. That’s hilarious about your partner. They worry too, right? Take care!!
Oh she’s so cute, Fudge! Glad it’s all going smoothly and you’ve been blessed with a chilled out baby.
I just crossed over into the third trimester last week, which feels so good!
Life has been a little anxious though with a death in my husband’s family and a falling out in mine 🥺. Turns out the stresses of life don’t stop when you finally pregnant- who knew?! (I honestly think when I imagined pregnancy during infertility I subconsciously thought it would solve all my problems 😂)
