Hi everyone. I’m a little over 11 weeks now and due to have my 12 week scan on Friday. Since around 10 weeks my nausea has resolved, I’ve got a bit more energy and to be honest I don’t “feel” pregnant anymore. I’m absolutely terrified it’s going to be bad news and I’m just not sure I can go through that. I haven’t had any reassurance scans since my viability scan at 7.5weeks as I was trying to embrace just being on the normal pregnancy pathway, but now I wish I had!! If anyones had a similar experience and everything was ok at the scan I’d be grateful to hear! I hope everything’s going well for you all with your pregnancies and your wee ones xxx

In my 1st pregnancy I felt dramatically better closer to 12 weeks.....2nd trimester, apart from my size I was full of life and didn't feel pregnant at all.

Fingers crossed for the scan. I am right behind you at 8 weeks.

Hiya, i completely understand! I have my 20 week scan on Friday and I have panicked every time I’ve not felt anything and then booked a private scan 🙈 I’ve had about 4 from 8-18 weeks and every time I’ve been everything has been fine. My nausea comes back every few days now so I try to enjoy the ‘normal’ days as much as I can.Don’t beat yourself up about worrying - we’ve all been through so much.

What time is your scan on Friday? Mine is at 2:20pm - can’t wait to get it over and know everything is ok! Xx

Thankfully it’s early, 10.30. You’re so right, all the crap we’ve been through to get pregnant really robs you of the ability to enjoy it. I’m so glad all your scans have been normal so far and I hope your one on Friday is the same xxx

This exact thing happened to me! I woke up one morning when I was around 10+5 and had absolutely no symptoms. I felt great, no fatigue, no nausea but then the anxiety kicked in. I just kept telling myself that this was normal as I was so close to 11 weeks the placenta must have taken over. Anyway 12 week scan was normal, 20 week scan was perfect and we are now 23 weeks.

If you’ve had awful symptoms up until now that’s a great sign and it’s probably just the placenta doing it’s job. Hope your 12 week scan is soon!

Thank you for the reply! So reassuring to know others have had a similar experience with a good outcome. And you are over half way now, how exciting! Best of luck in your last few months, not long until you get to meet your little one x
