early scan not at clinic?

I’m due to have my 6 week scan on Wednesday at my clinic and I’ve been having awful nausea and sickness these last few days. My clinic is an hours drive away and I’ll have to drive myself. My sickness is a lot worse in the car and I’m worried about how bad I’ll be on Wednesday. I plan to call my clinic tomorrow to ask if I can have the scan somewhere closer. Has anyone else had a similar situation? The thought of an hours drive makes me feel sick! Thanks x

Hope you managed to get a scan appointment nearer to home . Just remember to little and often and drink sips of fluids regularly .Have you tried ginger biscuits - can help with the sicky feeling .Take care
