Just curious if any member of this board has used this drug with any marked success? I know it hasn't been around long but I had to ask because this is very exciting to see and I hope they continue to develop these drugs.

Rezdiffra

Not for all.
"A new treatment for NASH with liver scarring* without cirrhosis
The first and only FDA-approved once-daily treatment, along with diet and exercise, for adults with NASH with liver scarring.
*Moderate to advanced liver scarring (fibrosis).
NASH is nonalcoholic steatohepatitis."
I just started taking it and will give a report of my results after my scan in 6 months.
I just got prescribed it. I will let you know once I have done labs and a scan in 3-6 months time
I was in clinical trials for this drug for 2 years. I don't know if I was on the drug or placebo the 1st year, but the 2nd year I was on the drug. I had my last dose in the trial Nov 14, 2022 and have been anxiously waiting for FDA approval. I did have improvement on the drug. I definitely had improvement of CAP score & also kPa in FibroScan comparison from the year before I started taking it and at the end of the trial. I have just gotten a prescription of Rezdiffra and started taking it again last week on July 12. I'm so pleased to be back on this drug.
Thanks for the replies. I would also like to know how long it's safe to be on this drug? Is it like a cycle on cycle off type of thing or a long term thing?
