Diagnosed with NASH with F2 fibrosis 6 months ago (fibroscan and biopsy, fibroscan showed 12kpa which is stage 3 but biopsy lowered that to stage 2).
I met with my hepatologist today. My bloods (taken 2 days ago) are better, with my ALT going from between 350 and 400 over the last year, now down to 140, obviously still high but much better, all other liver markers OK. My cholesterol and triglycerides are also down. In that 5-6 month period I've lost 9kg.
But best of all, I had another fibroscan during my appointment today, and it is down to 7.7kpa from 12kpa! So from a stage 3 to almost a stage 1.
I'm so motivated to keep going now.

I have recently been diagnosed with a fatty liver. Fibroscan soon to come. I definitely needed to see your post. Thank you for sharing this hopeful and great news!
thank you for sharing. I’m so happy for you plus it gives me hope. I’ve been very concerned since my fibroscan result of F3 last month. I have completely quit drinking although my fatty liver is not from alcohol im sure alcohol is not helping. Im vegetarian and finding it difficult to avoid processed foods.
