Greetings, friends:
Today was good day. I had follow ups with both my endocrinologist and my hepatologist. On the Type 2 diabetes side, I've dropped my a1C from 6.5 to 5.5 in the past 12 months (which is now controlled in the normal level). Last year, my CAP was 321 (S3) and my kPa was 8.8 (mid-F2). Today, the CAP came in at 210 (below S1) and the KpA at 5.1(S0-S1). How? Diet, exercise, stress reduction. Be strict. Follow the guidelines. Be mindful. This step is just step one. It continues a daily battle, and I recognize it can return just as quickly as it was pushed down if I become lax and lazy. Have hope, my friends. Fight to win every day. Today is the only day you can control. Blessings.
