I was diagnosed with Nash and stage 1a fibrosis of the liver. For years my alt and AST have been elevated and now all of a sudden they are in normal range. How does that happen? Does that mean? I have not done anything different.

From your note, we can't tell if you have adopted a healthy lifestyle or just continued on. A lot of people have normal liver enzymes even with advanced disease but it also can be a sign of improvement The details matter. Does it make sense based on what you are doing with your diet and exercise? What has the ratio of AST to ALT done over the years?
