Fatty liver diet n supplements?

Best diet for fatty liver (#3 ) for busy Mama on the go ? What supplements should I take, too. Is it just me, but this area of my abdomen sticks out, sometimes larger than other times. Ty

Here is a link to our diet advice, but if your liver is enlarged to the point that it is noticeable I'd suggest having it evaluated by a hepatologist. The organ's size changes naturally throughout the day depending on meals and such but doesn't usually draw attention to itself.

I find my swells depending on what I eat and how hard the liver has to work. I found a great weight loss health program my dr. approved to try and I feel great. It's called Optavia and I'm now a coach. I've lost 50 pounds since July. Swelling gone. I'm in stage 4 or I was with Nash.

The Mediterranean diet seems best for fatty liver. My hepatologist told me to stay away from liver cleanses and supplements. I only take Vit. D and E now.

I also do d&e. I’ve read that zinc is good for liver (and Covid) so I started taking that. I also take fish oil if I feel like I haven’t gotten enough, but don’t take it every day. Not sure if these are good things but what I do!I was taking milk thistle at one point but read to stop doing it.
