Hi! I’m new here. I was diagnosed last December with Cirrhosis stage 4 secondary to NASH, portal hypertension and esophageal varises while being treated for a blood clot. I am slowly learning to cope with this disease. I’m currently being evaluated at Lahey Clinic in Massachusetts for a living donor transplant.

I’m having extreme nausea and wondered if this is a symptom others are having. If so, how are you dealing with it.

Hi Joyce

Sorry to learn of your story. Nausea is a common problem sadly. The docs do have some fairly effective anti nausea drugs that they can prescribe. Not much help I know, it is a miserable side effect

Thanks Wayne. I’m on promethazine and Ondansetron. It does make it manageable. 🤢
