Type 2 diabetic recently diagnosed with compensated non alcoholic cirrhosis. Trying to find best diet for this condition plus will diet and excercise slow further progression of this disease.

Hi Jkop ! Welcome to the community! One of the best exercise options I can recommend is simply walking. I'm a big fan of walking and listening to podcasts or music, and I always feel better taking some time and getting outside. Even something as simple as taking the stairs vs. the elevator, or parking farther away in a parking lot can be small positive changes. Best of luck!

Agreed, I love a good walk in the woods. Walking on grass etc. is also better for your joints than pavement or a treadmill.

Is a good diet to follow a diabetic diet?

Hi Jacque a diabetes diet is a good start for a liver patient. The main difference would be the use of more unsaturated fat and fewer complex carbs. Here is a link that might help you
