Just diagnosed 10 days ago. Was told by Dr to lose weight. Lost 8 lbs in 9 days. Too drastic? Not feeling real well. Body not adjusting yet. Am eating a little more now. Did get lots of info off internet. Not much from my medical office.

Dieting for my fatty liver disease
Hi, thanks for sharing. Sustainable weight loss is the goal I guess. Are you making sure you are still getting good nutrients and lots of water? I find the cold-pressed vegetable juices are really helpful for that, and most supermarkets have them now. Also regular gentle exercise is important to keep you feeling fresh and energized! All the best
I haven't tried the vegetable juices yet. Thanks for the idea. Been drinking unsweetened teas & water. I walk 3-8 miles almost everyday unless I have to work. Then I just stand 4hrs.
OK you have got the exercise covered! The vegetable juices are a bit pricy but they do have great nutrients and fiber, and they don't have all the sugar you find in smoothies. I've also been finding that the frozen vegetables that you can microwave / steam are a good convenient substitute for high carb foods such as pasta rice and fries. We all need to stop fatty liver getting worse!
Another good idea. Am tired of all raw vegetables. Thanks!
