I had to have an emergency gallbladder removal last September. At that time the surgeon did not like the looks of my liver and had done a biopsy. I already knew I had fatty liver and the biopsy proved correct. I have since then had gastric bypass surgery to help me lose weight and hopefully help with my Nash. Since having the surgery in April I have lost 70 pounds. Unfortunately I am having some post operative complications that hopefully can be taken care of with medication. I am a type to diabetic and was on for oral meds and insulin. I now only take a Geneva with my morning pills I am off all my other diabetic medicine and my sugars are running normal. I'm hoping that the weight loss and being off the medications which are toxic to your liver will help with the condition.

Great news! I'll continue to pray 4 you!
Great job losing weight! Any idea how your liver is doing now?
I had another liver biopsy in April when I had my gastric bypass surgery and all the results came back with no cell changes. Which in my book is a good sign. I'm hoping that the weight loss will decrease my liver size I have noticed a stabilization of my blood sugars and hoping all will continue on a good course
That's awesome to hear. Keep up the good work
