Wetting herself at school

my 4 year old is wetting herself daily at school. She doesn't do it anywhere else except at school and I don't know what else to do. I have tried everything from explaining to her, telling her off, reward charts. She is still in nappies at night but that's never affected her during the day until she has started school.

Have you spoken to the school. Often starting school creates relapses it's very common. I would ask the school to encourage regular toilet sits after every meal. As for nighttime wetting she is still young, don't worry about that just yet.

Hi, yes I've spoken to them several times. I just can't work out why it's only at school.

So many reasons, different toilets, noise etc.. speak to the senco, they should be supporting your daughter.

Have you inspected the toilets at the school to check if there is anything that may be putting your daughter off from using them? And, of course, tried to have a conversation with her as to way she is finding it difficult to go to the toilet while at school?

Hi, yes and I know she hates dirty toilets as she has always had an issue with this and she says they are but I've spoken to the school several times. And I've explained to her that she still needs to go or she is going to make herself sore. I'm not sure what else I can say to the school. Or do I go above her teachers head?

You need to liaise with the school senco

She needs to wear pampers 6,7 or 8 until she can keep them dry in the day too!

Which is not as she wetting her panties!

That's not true, identifying the issue is important not going backwards by making them wear pull ups.

Toilet routine, before and after meals, before bed 1st thing in the morning. Before you leave the house. After a drink about 30 minuites later. Routine is what sorted my daughter and she is still odd accident when playing so routine is key.

Can she have a friend to go to the toilet with? That's what worked for me
