Teenage sized boxer/pants?

I wondered if anyone can recommend some proper reusable pants/boxers with pads for urinary incontinence? The ones on the ERIC shop aren’t big enough for my son, and when I have googled I can only find horrid plastic pants or ‘pull up’ style nappies.

Hi there,

I don’t know if these websites would be any good for you:

allaboutincontinence.co.uk

everynappy.co.uk

pshealthcare.co.uk

The Abri wear deluxe ones are good if you can find the right size. Amazon have some that are 29” waist but not sure if that’s big enough.

I hope you have some success x

My son has normal boxers and puts Tena for Men pads in them, which are easy to swap out if they get full (some supermarkets do their own brand too) but the pads aren't reusable obviously, just the boxers are, not sure if that's what you're looking for? Best wishes 🦋

Hi there,

Just out of interest which of the Tena for men do you use for your son, level 1,2 or 3? as am always trying to find the best pad for my son that has the absorbency but isn’t too bulky. Thanks 😊

Hi, I actually buy them all and use them according to what we're doing, where we're going and how long we'll be etc. He doesn't wear them at home as I try not to have him rely on them all the time and it's much easier to dash to the loo at home and easy to put on fresh boxers. If you go on the Tena website they will send you free samples but they take a while to arrive. If it's just drips then the 1 would probably be fine with the option of changing during the day 🦋

Our son is 11 and has always had problems with his bladder. We have tried numerous different sorts of pads and pants over the years. We have found that pullups and padded pants can be awkward, especially at school, because he has to take his trousers completely off to get changed. We discussed this with his incontinence nurse, who now supplies him with large pads that are held in place by normal underwear. He finds this much better and easier to manage, especially at school. We have found that you can mostly hide the inevitable bumps and bulges by just getting baggier trousers.
