disimpaction green poo!

my 9 year old suffers immensely with constipation and tummy pains always.

Disimpaction day 5 and we have lots thick watery green poop!

It’s been a dark green soft slop since the start, now become a greener green and more watery.

Cannot find any advice to should I stop. Is green ok? Is it accomplished? Has she gone something else goin on?

Is she on a stimulant laxative?

No just laxido sachets. Been googling but with weekend can’t speak with doctors.

Dear Babygirlpoorpooper ,

We would recommend speaking to the health care professional who prescribed the laxatives regarding your child passing green poo.

This is probably due to unabsorbed bile in the large intestine

Sorry to hear this, not an expert on disimpaction. We never got that far, was hatd work though. I would say though. When you do get straight, maybe a toilet routine and plenty fibre/fluids also chia seeds in a meal are really good, they do work and are also healthy if you want to research it 1st. Flaxseeds do the same job. My sdaughter loves prunes and will eat them with her breakfast. Hope all gets better for you.
