I’ve been advised to increase my daughter to two sachets of movicol a day from one sachet. Do I give them together in one drink or give one twice a day? Plus any tips to get it into a 3 year old who will only drink milk and water?! Thanks all.

How do I give movicol?
Hi. Movicol is generally nicer in a squash drink we always found. You can taste and feel the texture in water but perhaps milk would disguise it well if that is her prefered option. I don't think it will matter for only 2 sachets. We have certainly taken one morning and one evening generally and then condensed 2 into one drink when that has been more convenient, like on holiday for example, with no difference in effectiveness.
Ideally you should give them all in one go. You need to make each sachet with the correct amount of water first 62.5ml, then you can add them to anything else afterwards. Some people find putting the made up sachets in the fridge so that it is cold more palatable. You can add the made up sachets to food such as jellies, milk for cereal, smoothies etc...
We always mix movicol with the amount of water needed, top the glass up with milk and drink through a 'milkshake' straw- like the nesquik ones.
