Hello, I’m trying to get my son to drink more during the day (bed wetter) but milk seems to give him explosive diarriah. I’ve heard blackcurrent and orange are no good but what else apart from water can I give him??

My done likes apple squash, especially when mixed with sparkling water. We have no berry or citric drinks either, but he’s quite happy with apple and it doesn’t seem to afftect him. Good luck!

Thanks for your replies. I know that water would be best but I can’t get him to drink enough of it! Is elderflower ok?

Have you tried any of the milk alternatives like the ones made from soya, almond or coconut? No idea what they are like! Apple juice (not from concentrate) is our fav. You could make it more exciting with crushed ice or an ice cube and make some in the freezer with something exciting inside like a blueberry or grape?! Slice of cucumber or strawberry in the water? (Although I don’t think this would be enough to excite my little one!) I used to wash up bottles of the fruit shoots her friends would have so she could have water in them and at least not feel different.
