I have tried a few different combinations / strengths of trimix. Makes it SUPER HARD and stays hard , wife LOVES IT .HOWEVER it has stayed hard over 12 hours and so painful i could barely walk. Its fine at injection and during sex but after ejaculation or just hitting for a long time it gets very sore and painful. Sometimes antidote and ice pack took forever to make it go down. I love the way it works, helped my marriage but wife says the pain i suffer is not worth it and she doesnt want me to do it. Im type 2 diabetic and most times cialis or viagra didnt work.. Any advice, support , other dr recommendations ( im in maryland) thx

You are using too much, tritrate down until you get an erection that is only 95% hard but still erect. You should not keep erect more than 1.5-2 hours and it should not be painful. If problem persists, see your Urologist.

Sounds like you are using too much Trimix. If the weaker formulated Trimix and small dose is causing that then maybe look at bimix instead. It takes one of the ingredients out and is still effective. Make sure you are not using any of the pills when you take it. Certainly talk with your doctor about the dosing issue.

Only choices are to stop or to titrate your dosage. You might do better on Bi-mix. Trial and error. And, yes, it hurts to keep an erection that long.

Any erection longer than 4 or 5 hours requires you to go to the ER. You might lose the damned thing. Here's advice from the Memorial Sloan Kettering website and some specific text on the sudafed remedy for priapism:

mskcc.org/cancer-care/patie...

"If you develop priapism

If you have an erection at penetration hardness (a 6 or higher on the erection hardness scale) that lasts 2 hours, take 4 (30 mg) tablets of pseudoephedrine HCl (Sudafed). Don’t take extended-release or long-acting tablets, such as Sudafed 12 hour. Ask your pharmacist or APP if you have any questions. The pseudoephedrine HCl will be shipped by the compounding pharmacy along with the vial of medication and syringes, or you can buy it at your local pharmacy. For more information, read the “Pseudoephedrine HCl (Sudafed)” section above."

You are very lucky you haven't already incurred damage.

Use less. I was down to 6 units. Doc started me at 30 units and had your results. 30% of guys are allergic to the PGE-1 in tri-mix and have extreme pain with any dose. if so try bi-mix.

Bi-mix actually did not work well for me. The trimix gave me sever pain, so I got the bimix,. It did nothing. Then I started using 3units of trimix with 27 units of the bimix. That resulted in a 3hr hard on. Injections can cause scaring and aggravate peyronies. I got a big bend to the right so o got an implant which straightened me back out. Now can pump hard at any time and stay hard forever. See: FrankTalk.org
