Anxiety based on fears of real life threatening issues. Help

I too hand these anxiety attacks mostly at night. I have gone to a therapist who told me that my anxiety attacks are based on real fears regarding continuing funding for my illness which will end when I'm 65. If I do not find funding when I'm 65, I will die because I do not have the money to continue treatment. I also do not know how to live with this. I feel like I'm on death row. I an on death row when funding stops. I have written letters to over 10 Congressional elected officials to increase health benefits to Medicaid and Medicare. I have not heard from any of them.

I don't quite understand....When you become 65 you can sign up for Medicare. OR are you on disability with Medicare? Your benefits will continue when you reach age 65 with medicare.

I have medicare now, on disability which qualifies me for medicare and medicaid. The medicaid pays for the outrageous co pays, deductibles, donut whole (3,000), etc. If I were to go straight medicare, it will lost me almost $500 a month plus which is not within my budget. I would have a choice be homeless and alive or dead living in my house. There is not enough money to pay for both. I have written and extensive letter to 10 congressional officials including Gov McCain in which he was the only one that responded, or I should say his office. McCain may not be with us long with his brain cancer. The medicare break down is like this $medicare in 2021 will be $135 a month, plus $190 for the GAP Insurance (another rip off), plus the $500 deducible for the medicines , Plus the specialist co-pays which I have to go 1-2 monthly at $30.00 a crack You add that all up and it comes to more than $500 a month. I have called over 35 cancer organizations for grants, funds, co-pay assistance, including the manufacturer, None can help...yes that is right, none can help. They either do not have funds left and/or I am not eligible. Done deal.

What state do you live? Surely there is assistance out there. Writing to politicians is a waste of time. Apparently you are 62 because you are looking ahead to 2021 and Medicare cost. In Three years any thing can change for the better. No sense in compounding your illness in what 3 years will bring. Stay positive, and I hope things will work out for you.

Well 10 years ago, the situation was the same . SO what hope can I have in the next 3 years anything about health benefits will change that would be sufficient enough to cover this?
