I developed ED Post-Prostatectomy in February 2004. I was 65 and never had a prior history of ED. I studied the literature and attended ED Seminars for several years and finally, in November 2007, got to speak with two men who had the Coloplast Titan Penile Implant Procedure done. This convinced me to move forward and I was implanted with the Titan IPP (Inflatable Penile Prosthesis) three weeks later. In retrospect, this proved to be one of the best decisions I have made. It truly "gave me my life back" just as the two men I spoke with said it would and, also restored emotional intimacy with my wife.

Answer: After a 4-6 week Post-Op Recovery Period, your Implant Surgeon will clear you for sexual intercourse. After the Recovery Period, I never experienced any pain during sex.
2- Feels like it did before surgery?
Answer: It feels like it did before surgery has the same sensitivity.
3- Looks the same?
Answer: My penis is about the same length as pre-implant but I definitely have more girth
(width).
How does it feel to partner?
Answer: My wife loves my Titan Implant and many men I have spoken with over the
years tell me that their wives/partners love their Titan Implants also.
I have experienced ED after prostate removal, I have taken Viagra and Cialis, but all this has not worked and it a year now. I feel less of a man as I cannot satisfy my wife who is 14 years younger than me. I am so frustrated!!!
I absolutely know how frustrated ED makes you feel.
I developed ED Post-Prostatectomy in 2004 and was not at all satisfied with Treatments such as PDE5 Inhibitors (Viagra, etc.), VED (Vacuum Erection Device), etc.
Finally, in 2007 I was implanted with the Coloplast Titan IPP (Inflatable Penile Prosthesis).
My Penile Implant completely corrected my ED and restored both my sex life and the emotional bond with my wife. I would do it again in a heart-beat!!

Thanks bob1138, I will take your advice. Did you say this took about 3 years? How was your sex life then? What about your partner, how do you think she felt?
Happy to hear you will look into Penile Implant to correct your ED.
I said it took 3 years after my Prostatectomy for me to finally decide on the Titan Penile Implant Procedure.
Actually, after getting the opportunity in November 2007 to speak with 2 men who had been implanted with the Titan, I had my Titan Implant Procedure done on
December 13, 2007. In retrospect, this is one of the best decisions I have ever made!
From the time I developed ED in 2004 until I had my Titan Implant in December 2007 I had virtually no sex life. Both my wife and I missed the sex, as well as, the emotional bond which we had developed over many years.
My wife and I have been fully enjoying my Titan Implant for the past 12 years and counting!!
