I am now getting pain, aches and stiffness in my hips. My own GP said I should go for physio which I will try. I have fibromyalgia which could be the problem but I have heard of women with endo having problems with their hips etc. Can anyone help? Scared incase it turns out to be arthritis.

Pain in hips, back, thighs or legs are related to endo when endo is irritating nerves in the pelvis. So it could be this, it always depends where the endo is and which nerves are affected. x
i was looking through my paperwork ready to go into hospital tomorrow to have a hysterectomy and on my consent form the doc had written Adenomyosis of the uterus now all my pain has been in my back and my hips it drives me crazy i have suffered like this for five years having all kind of test including kidney bladder but all came back clear i have laps which have come back clear but i went to a different hospital and a nice doc listened to me and looked at my scan results and said that he could see something at the top of uterus he did an internal and saw that i was in a lot of discomfort from the examination that he said the only thing that would calm it down would the mirena coil but i have that in already i said to him so he said the next option was a total hysterectomy which i agreed to straight away and its being done by keyhole surgery any way thats enough about me ....... i will say that Adenomyosis is said to be very difficult to diagnose so please put this to your consultant or GP good luck and i hope everything works out for you .....
Thank you Shaz, I looked it up. Would that not have shown up when i went in to get my lap? My gyno said my ovaries, fallopian tubes and uterus are fine. I only have endo spots in sac of douglas, which could not be removed, and I have adhesions on my right side but my left ovary is stuck to my fallopian tube and other areas.
