I have the mirena coil and was wondering how quickly you can get pregnant when you have it taken out, or is it different for everyone? I also have endometriosis, and have been really worried that I wouldn't be able to get pregnant! Has anyone else who has had the mirena coil and endometriosis who have been able to get pregnant when it's been taken out?

Mirena coil, pregnancy endo?! Need help.
Mirena does not necessarly stop you ovulating (it can in some women but not all) so in theory you can get pregnant as soon as, and some women get pregnant with it still inside (not at all recommended.)
If you had any cysts while having the mirena installed chances are you are still ovulating while on the mirena.
If you had a lap op to clean up the adhesions recently and are good to go then as soon as it's out start TTC, if you haven't had adhesions cut back for some time, then you might want to check with your gynaecologist to make sure you are okay to start or whether they want to cut away adhesions before you TTC.
I had the mirena coil removed in Jan 2010 and I was pregnant three months later. I had a lap the year before and they did the blue dye test to check that my tubes were clear. I have a feeling that next time will take a lot longer because I haven't had a lap for a few years and my endo pain is back after two years of breastfeeding and it seems to have progressed without me knowing. Good luck! Xx
